RANDOM THOUGHTS For People Who Think Randomly

Ugly Betty

How come Ugly Betty isn't ugly. While I don't watch the show, I gather from the synopsis it is about a young woman who works for an abusive boss.

However, braces and glasses do not an ugly person make. Ingratitude, thanklessness, cruelty towards innocent people, abusing those you feel you can and exploiting and taking advantage of others, is what's ugly. That isn't very cute at all.

To take undeserved garbage and abuse from other people and still stand up afterwards is beautiful.

ROYALTY Prince William And Prince Harry

Princes Harry and William were interviewed by Matt Lauer last week in a very open special. They spoke about their lives and their late mother, Princess Diana.

While some of the interview was serious, it had its comedic moments as well. Like Prince Harry, ahem, flying the flag for the British education system:

"PRINCE HARRY: Yeah. We've had a good education. Doesn't show but we have."

Oh dear (LOL)! You know teachers all over the UK were exclaiming, where did we go wrong! - just kidding.

Lauer made reference to Diana's nickname for William "Willy Wombat." Look at him in the next pic. I think every parent and babysitter knows and dreads that face. It's the hide-the-valuables-and-breakables face:

William and his wombat leanings

LAUER: She used to call you Wombat. Which is cute--

PRINCE WILLIAM: It's basically it was when I was two I've been rightfully told 'cause I can't remember back that far. But-- when we went to Australia-- with our-- when I went with our parents and the wombat you know obviously that's the local animal. So I just basically got called that. Not because I look like a wombat. Or maybe I do you know...

Little William to little girl: So, can I call you sometime?:

Natasha Bedingfield Likes Prince William

Kate Middleton

Beautiful Natasha Bedingfield has a crush on Prince William (yea, you and most of Britain, Natasha). Last week, there were reports of his equally beautiful ex-girlfriend Kate Middleton visiting Prince William and reportedly trying to rekindle their relationship.

Ah Natasha, I see stab wounds in your future. The British press would love a fight between those two women over the prince. Then again, he probably would too. Men are terrible that way! (Just kidding).

Natasha Bedingfield

Natasha Bedingfield: I Want Prince William. Too bad she's dating...

Natasha Bedingfield has revealed that she fancies Prince William. The songstress, who is due to appear at Sunday’s Concert For Diana, told reporters at her iTunes gig in London, that she is nervous about finally meeting the Prince.

“I think William is gorgeous – I’ve fancied him for ages. I’m quite nervous. The only problem is he is single now and I’ve started dating someone.” “I should have made my move ages ago” Princess Natasha, has a nice ring to it, eh? - http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news?id=33908

CELEBRITY Funny Photos

You see that grin. That's the grin of a negro that just made $100,000,000 off of a bottled water deal. Who says rappers are dumb:

Rapper Jay-Z doing his best Dolce and Gaybanna pose. Is that fruity pink you're wearing, Jay? Hey Jay, Mr. hardcore rapper man, I read somewhere that you live with a dude. Over to you...

I see comedian Dane Cook raided his girlfriend's closet for this ensemble. Dude, no matter what they tell you, that cut is only for women. The sales girl totally punked you:

Assistant Allie: Brit, take your meds, OK!

Britney to son: Who's your daddy mommy!:
Sean: Her name is nanny!!!
Britney: Whatever Sean!

Britney to other son: Jayden, sweetie who's your daddy mommy!
Jayden: Madre Conchita?

Just priceless:

While I know Jessica Simpson's projects have been flopping one after another, isn't it a bit too soon to be sporting the homeless look:

CELEBRITY Funny Story

The Marleys vs. The Stewarts

I read a story this week regarding the kids of Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley getting into a scrap with the kids of legendary singer Rod Stewart.

I don't believe this story for one second. There is no way the Marleys can see through all that ganja smoke to be fighting anybody (LOL If the Marleys read this, I'm just playing).

In the words of Rodney King, "Can't we all just get along." Either that or at least charge for it on pay-per-view.

(Actually, it was allegedly Natalie Imbruglia getting physically).

"Model KIMBERLEY STEWART, daughter of pop oldie ROD STEWART, got into a bit of a scrap with the offspring of another music legend, BOB MARLEY, at a London club this week.

Kimberly was celebrating younger sister Ruby's 20th birthday with singer NATALIE IMBRUGLIA at Kabaret's Prophecy nightclub, when Marley's sons Damian, Ziggy and Julian entered and claimed the table. Both clans said they had been promised the top table and chaos ensued when neither party would budge.

A source told the Mirror: "It was chaotic. Natalie wasn't having them on their table and tried to shove them and their bodyguard out of the VIP section." They added: "Ruby was in tears and the crown she was wearing went flying in the melee, and several glasses on the table were shattered."

The Marley brothers had just come from the Mojo Awards where they picked up an award for their late father, and were in no mood for niceties. However, the Stewarts finally gave in and moved to another section of the club, before leaving at four in the morning." - Contact Music, June 20, 2007

CELEBRITY Look Alikes

Don't the late actress Dana Plato (left) and reality TV star Heidi (right) look alike:

SPORTS Funny Sports Pics

Little boy to tennis player Rafael Nadal: In just a few months, my hair will be just as long and lustrous as yours:

Tennis player Denai Udomchoke. As an athlete having the word "choke" in your name opens the door to many a sports headline if you do indeed choke in the arena:

U.S. immigration made an error when told Brit Beckham is a football player and gave him the wrong uniform:

Rugby player Johnny Wilkinson: Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark

Andy Murray: Federer!

CLIMATE Global Warming

Hollywood Hypocrisy

Live Earth Hypocrisy

June 27. 2007

The Live Earth concerts are coming up, which in my humble opinion is just one big self-congratulatory, ego stroking publicity stunt. See dictionary for the word hypocrisy.

I wrote about global warming two years ago in my Sound Off Column. It’s something that has been written about for several years by many. Live Earth and co. are treating it as a new discovery, that they are letting the rest of us in on, which is bizarre.

Al Gore, who won an Oscar for his recycled global warming documentary, while Spike Lee got nothing for his outstanding piece on Hurricane Katrina, is in no position to be lecturing anyone on climate change.

As reported by several credible outlets a few months ago, Al Gore’s electric bill in his huge mansion reveals he uses “20 times” as much electricity as the “average household” and “electricity consumption increased” after he put out his documentary about global warming.

Photo courtesy of the Daily Mail

The Live Earth headliner, perpetual thief and pervert, Madonna, just boasted to the press via fax and email about buying another home in London, which will consume even more electricity/fuel. Can you say dumb move before headlining a show about global warming. Not to mention, she stole the song and video she donated to Live Earth. Talk about low life scum.

Many of the stars on the Live Earth bill travel by private jet, rather than commercial airliner, have multiple homes and cars in different countries polluting the air and guzzling gas…and are now holding a concert where thousands of people will have to use even more gas to get to and receive tens of thousands of pieces of paper made from trees, to confirm and furnish them with tickets for admittance to global rock concerts.

You lot are in no position to lecture anyone about global warming, when you do more to contribute to the problem than the average citizen.

Once again, in my humble opinion, this is a government and science problem, not an airhead sociopath pop star or drugged out rock star problem.

The governments of the world need to collectively come up with solutions for cleaner air, water, food and fuel use.

Stating the obvious: governments need to work with science to come up with fuel alternatives. Stick with it until progress is made. Nothing is impossible.

What is also needed is better legislation to implement better standards at corporations and multi-national companies whose products are widely disseminated in mass quantities, but is helping to destroy the environment in how they are produced, what they are made of and how they are delivered. There are alternatives to some of these issues that will help cut back on the problem.

The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization, issued a press release late Monday:

Last night, Al Gore’s global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy.

Gore’s mansion, [20-room, eight-bathroom] located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES).

In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home.

The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average.

Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.

Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.

Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year.

“As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk to walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson.

In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.” Drudge Report

LEGAL FILE Madonna Lawsuit

Madonna and co have infringed more work via the rip off film Rock N Rolla. I will post about it in detail on Monday.

We are still awaiting the Supreme Court's decision in the U.S. legal case. While that's going on, we've started laying the groundwork to file the international lawsuits.

The 40 page United Nations human rights abuse complaint regarding the case and additional misconduct Madonna and co committed that has not been made public yet, was sent to parties in the Jamaican government, who in turn sent it to Jamaica's U.N. delegate in New York, where the U.N. is headquartered, to be filed. The report will be posted to the site next month.

LEGAL FILE Robert Mueller (FBI)

Money Misused: Mueller Using FBI Private Jet For Himself

June 12. 2007

FBI Director Robert Mueller has been flying high on the taxpayer's dime - literally. A jet that is costing the taxpayer's "40 million dollars" that was designated for flying FBI agents around on emergency anti-terror missions, is regularly being used by FBI Director Robert Mueller, according to the Washington Post.

How disgusting. It shows a great lack of ethics and class. Act like you've been there before. You're nouveau riche without being riche. You're doing it on taxpayer money.

Who does he think he is wasting taxpayer money in what appears to be chronic behavior. People work their fingers to the bone paying taxes...so he can luxuriate in the sky at a cost of "$40 million" rather than taking a commercial flight with the common folks. One doesn't get any more common than wasting money that isn't yours.

Model of a costly $40,000,000 private jet Robert Mueller is misusing:

I still can't get over the 1.1 billion dollars in taxpayer money Mueller wasted on a computer system for the FBI that shouldn't have cost a tenth of that - with millions of dollars unaccounted for, listed on invoices as "miscellaneous" - with the estimated time of arrival, pardon the pun, for said computer system being 2009.

The computer system will have 2006 standards, rendering it 3 years behind technology. It is very difficult to fix that, no matter what they tell you on their site, as that means slower processors, software and attachable external devices such as printers, scanners, routers and firewalls, which to replace would further lengthen the time and cost of the job, that is already behind schedule and over budget.

See a pattern of wasteful spending yet. But who cares, right - the taxpayer will just pick up the tab.

Last year in my June 2006 Sound Off Column, I wrote that FBI Director Mueller "travels first class" on taxpayer money - who could have imagined to this great degree - Aisha feigns surprise face-.

But we the taxpayers are being unreasonable. After all, Mueller clearly thinks he is the president (you know in his dress up play time he calls himself that) and the one truly running the country, so the taxpayers should spring for an AIR FORCE TWO to fly him around to tell everyone, "Hey there are terrorists out there and they like to blow up stuff. Thank you for having me and good night." That's the gist of ALL his speeches.

For $40,000,000 tell us something we don't know. Like where's Osama, where's Jimmy Hoffa, which offshore accounts the miscellaneous computer money is in, where's all that missing Iraqi oil/money and why is it in every mafia movie the men wear bouffants/pompadours.

It is very obvious he and a few others in government just don't care. But you as the taxpayer should care, because you and I pay those high bills of his and theirs.

Certain members of government are in it for what they can get, regardless of the damage it does to the country financially, socially and morally.

In a time of war, when citizens are really feeling it in the pocket, having to cut costs, do extra budgeting and rein in spending, isn't it great to know, he is wasting copious amounts of gas and millions of dollars, to avoid rubbing shoulders with you, the taxpayer.

How are you going to indict Congressman William Jefferson on allegedly abusing his position over $400,000, when you are abusing your position regarding $40,000,000 in funds that were Congressionally designated for flying FBI agents, of which you are NOT one, on emergency anti-terrorism missions, Marie Antoinette, Mueller.

Sounds like you want to have your cake and eat it too. A $40,000,000 cake paid for by the taxpayers, who fly commercial, unlike you.

It couldn't be for "safety reasons." If I were a foreign agent (which I'm not, lest he open file #201,789 on me and waste more taxpayer money), I would want someone like you in office with your distinguished track record of failure, cause I know I'd be safe, could wreak havoc and would have nothing to worry about, because you wouldn't be the wiser.

For further reference see Mueller's costly computer system failure/fiasco, misidentifying terrorists in 9/11 and in the Spain bombings, the Mark Foley scandal he knew about and covered up to protect a high profile perv, according to the IOG, and the Patriot Act abuses he's engaged in for years at the general public's expense, both domestic and international.

Hoover must be rolling in his grave hell. While your predecessor J Edgar Hoover, no relation to the vacuum, who framed and harassed the late great reverend Martin Luther King jr. no end, was unquestionably corrupt, at least he was competent.

Jet intended to fight terror being used to ferry FBI director to speeches

"Published: Monday June 11, 2007 - When the FBI asked Congress this spring to provide $3.6 million in the war spending bill for its Gulfstream V jet, it said the money was needed to ensure that the aircraft, packed with state-of-the-art security and communications gear, could continue to fly counterterrorism agents on "crucial missions" into Iraq," begins John Solomon in Tuesday editions of The Washington Post, according to copy provided to RAW STORY.

"But the jet that the FBI originally sold to lawmakers in the late 1990s as an essential tool for battling terrorism is now routinely used to ferry FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III to speeches, public appearances and field office visits."

From the Washington Post:

"Since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the bureau has made similar annual requests to maintain and fuel the $40 million jet on grounds that it had a "tremendous impact" on combating terrorism by rapidly deploying FBI agents to "fast-moving investigations and crisis situations" in places such as Afghanistan.

Congress approved funding for the FBI's Gulfstream to help deploy counterterrorism agents to international hot spots. Congress approved funding for the FBI's Gulfstream to help deploy counterterrorism agents to international hot spots.

But the jet that the FBI originally sold to lawmakers in the late 1990s as an essential tool for battling terrorism is now routinely used to ferry FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III to speeches, public appearances and field office visits.

In fact, Mueller's travel now accounts for nearly a quarter of the flight time for the lone FBI jet able to make international flights.

FBI officials acknowledged to The Washington Post that Mueller's use of the Gulfstream was a marked departure from the travel practices of his predecessors, such as Louis J. Freeh, who flew commercially or used a smaller Cessna Citation jet."

INTERNATIONAL NEWS Mayhem In Britain

Britain was once again the subject of attempted terrorist attacks that were diffused before innocent civilians were harmed.

Two improvised car bombs made of gasoline and nails were found in London. They were left in heavily populated areas of the city for maximum effect. Thankfully, someone spotted the first one, which lead to a search for the second one. The authorities were able to diffuse both.

English PM Tony Blair stepped down passing the reins to now Scottish PM Gordon Brown

Another attack occurred when two men drove a car bomb into the Glasgow airport. The car failed to blow up in the manner that was clearly desired. They were both arrested.

I can't help but think Glasgow airport located in Scotland was chosen because Gordon Brown is a Scotsman. The attacks, especially the one at the airport, was done to demoralize Gordon during his first week as PM and to coincide with the anniversary of the July bombings that rocked London a couple years ago.

SPIRITUAL The Courage To Continue

Sometimes in life the unthinkable happens. Something that brings you much pain and changes your life. Some sorrows can be emotionally debilitating and wear on you.

It is in those times you have to pray for the strength and courage to continue. Sadness and depression can overwhelm you. Leave you feeling empty and alone.

You wouldn't be human if you didn't feel sadness during times of suffering. It will make you question your reason for living, but God put you here for a reason. Don't doubt that.

Do not allow yourself to fall too low into that sadness, to the point it overwhelms you and makes you feel like you can't go on. God is there to help you.
